1 ¼ cup Crisco™ Oil
2 cups Sugar
3 cups Plain Flour
3 cups Apples, peeled and finely chopped
¾ cup Walnuts or Pecans, chopped
3 Eggs
2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon cloves, ground

Combine oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, and cloves. Fold in the apples and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan (or 9x11" baking pan). Bake at 350 °F for 1 hour.

Caramel Dribble
1 cup Brown Sugar
¼ cup Milk
¾ stick Butter

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Pour directly over hot cake's bottom just after removing from the oven. Cool for 2 hours before removing from bundt pan. If removal is difficult, place the bundt pan in a warm oven for about 5 minutes to lossen the dribble. Optionally, drizzle additional carmel dribble on top for visual effect or a more intense flavor.
