Sweethearts Banquet Program Cover

This is the cover for a young-marrieds Valentine's day banquet's program. The outline of the heart was formed using every day items that represent the fact that marriage extends beyond those initial romantic days. The rose represents the fact that romance still exists, is central to the marriage, but that it must be maintained with commitment amidst many distractions. The work was produced in pen & ink in 1992.
