The go-live spreadsheet contains an example from a tax update, but I use the same basic spreadsheet for many, many different projects. During a mock go-live I determine the sequence of events and identify steps that can be overlapped to save time. The duration of each step is tracked on the TIMINGS tab. These figures are transferred to the GO LIVE PLAN tab. Specifically, the durations go in the LAST TRY column. Simultaneous or choreographed tasks are noted in the SIMUL column. Where necessary, the START column is manually adjusted, and such overrides are noted with a colored cell. The end times are calculated from the START column by adding the LAST TRY minutes.
GOLIVE.XLSThis is a time sheet to track time worked. It has specific features for EHS employees, but can be adapted for other environments. EHS employees need to configure the time sheet for the proper accrual calculations by putting their data on the SETTINGS tab. In general, black cells indicate areas where data entry is expected.
This spreadsheet also has several tabs for tracking time for projects, and for showing project prioritization and time allocations. I've used these from time to time for certain situations that called for such fastidious time tracking. I hope you never have to track and report your life in 15 minute increments! But if you do, these tabs could be helpful.
2008_SHARE.XLSSimple spreadsheet to track time spent on a project. The same functionality exists in the EHS Time Sheet, but if you want something simple, this is the file for you.
