This is the yearbook cover for Westview Elementary in Chattanooga, TN. If you look close you can see I've hidden my initials in the image. To keep costs down, only two colors could be used. The school's colors are blue and white so we used cyan and black on a white cover. The wildcat claw, and rips were hand drawn separately, scanned, and vectorized. Each object was duplicated to create a borderless fill outline that was placed beneath the parent object and manual trapped. The final pieces were assembled in CorelDraw where text was added.
